Sogand obtained a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and a Bachelor of International Studies with Distinction from Deakin University in 2018.

Following the completion of her degrees, she obtained a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law.

Since her admission, she has practiced primarily in the area of family law and has experience in all family and relationship matters from the initial negotiation and mediation stage through to the final trial of litigation.

Sogand appears as an advocate in the Federal Circuit Court of Australia, the Family Court of Australia and Magistrates’ Courts of Victoria.
