We offer telephone and video conference appointments in response to Covid-19 and the advice and directions of both the State and Federal Government and the World Health Organisation.

Quotation for Services:

After our first initial half-hour appointment we will provide you with details of our legal fees in writing, tailored to your specific requirements and legal situation.

Legal Aid Assistance:

We do offer Legal Aid assistance, however recent changes have affected eligibility criteria for those requiring Victoria Legal Aid assistance. For more information on whether you are eligible for Legal Aid visit our FAQ page or learn more here.

Important Information

How to prepare for your first appointment

  • To make an initial appointment with our office, call our friendly staff at reception on 03 9600 2300.

  • Our staff at reception will ask for details about your legal matter to confirm that we are in a position to assist you.

    An appointment will be made, and we will forward an email confirming the date and time.

  • In your initial appointment, one of our lawyers will discuss your legal matter with you and provide initial advice.

    If you are seeking a grant of legal assistance, the lawyer will guide you through the Victoria Legal Aid application form. You may be requested to provide information and documents in relation to your financial circumstances.

    At the conclusion of the appointment, the lawyer might request that you provide additional documents, such as Court Orders, or information in relation to your legal matter.

  • If we are in a position to do so and you confirm you wish to be represented by our office, we will commence assisting you with your matter.

    If you are seeking a grant of legal assistance and we have been provided with all necessary information and documents, and you meet Victoria Legal Aid guidelines, a member of our staff will lodge the Application on your behalf.

    Please be advised that we are unable to commence assisting you with your matter until you are in receipt of a grant of legal assistance.

    It can take anywhere between two days and four weeks for Victoria Legal Aid applications to be processed. We will update you of the outcome of your Application as soon as practicable.
