Victoria Legal Aid

Victoria Legal Aid is a statewide body, which provides legal assistance to people who are not in a position to afford the cost of legal representation. Eligibility is means tested and there is also a merits test. If you are eligible for Legal Aid assistance we can act on your behalf pursuant to Victoria Legal Aid guidelines.

Family Relationships Australia

In order to be eligible for Legal Aid assistance in the Federal Circuit Court for a family law matter, the matter in dispute must be a priority matter. A priority matter is a matter which is considered as urgent by the Court, such as a child being in imminent danger or at risk of being removed from the state/country. As well as being a priority matter, to be eligible for Legal Aid assistance in the Family Court, you must have completed, or attempted to complete, Roundtable Dispute Management.
